We want you to love everything you buy from Ethnic Story! If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
We are happy to offer a one-time return or exchange completely free of charge per order! No shipping deductions or hidden fees for your first request.
We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, your item must meet the following conditions:
Requested within 7 days of the date your order was delivered.
Unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
All original tags must still be attached, and you must include the invoice.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
Items purchased on Sale, during Black Friday, or as Free Gifts (e.g., Buy 2 Get 1 Free).
Items that show signs of wear or use.
Requests made after the 7-day delivery window has passed.
Items purchased from other platforms (like Myntra or third-party stores).
Email Us: Send a message to contact@ethnicstory.shop with your Order ID. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please include photos.
Wait for Approval: Once we approve your request, we will arrange a pickup.
Pickup: Our courier will pick up the item within 3–5 working days.
Your One-Time Return/Exchange is FREE: We cover the return pickup cost for your one allowed return or exchange per order.
No Pickup Service in Your Area? If our courier partners cannot arrange a pickup at your pin code, you will need to ship the item back to us. We will reimburse you up to ₹120 for the shipping cost once your return is approved.
You can exchange an item for a different size or design (subject to availability).
Shipping is free for your exchange order.
If the new item costs more, you will need to pay the difference in advance.
If the new item costs less, we will issue you store credit for the difference.
Cash Refunds: We only issue direct refunds to your original payment method if you received a damaged or incorrect product. Refunds are processed within 7–15 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
Store Credit: For all other returns (like size issues or changing your mind), we will issue a store credit. This credit is valid for 1 full year from the date it is issued.
Note: Original shipping and Cash on Delivery (COD) charges paid at the time of placing the order are non-refundable.
You can cancel your order within 1 to 2 hours of placing it by emailing contact@ethnicstory.shop.
Once your order has been dispatched, it can no longer be canceled.
We cannot accept cancellations due to courier delivery delays.
We celebrate imperfections! Because many of our items are handcrafted, you might notice slight variations in print, color, or texture. These are not defects—they are the beautiful, unique charm of handmade products!
