        Return & Exchange Policy – Ethnic Story 
How to Request a Return or Exchange
- Email us at contact@ethnicstory.shop with your Order ID and photos (if applicable).
 - Onceapproved, the item will be picked up in 3–5 working days.
 
What's Eligible for Return/Exchange
- Youcan request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order.
 - The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags intact.
 - Onlyone return/exchange per order is allowed.
 - We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
 
- Sale  items, Free items (like in Buy 2 Get 1 offers), or Black Friday purchases.
 - Items returned after 7 days or without tags/invoice.
 - Items with signs of use or wear.
 
Return Shipping Charges
- For general returns (like change of mind or size issue), a ₹150 return charge will be deducted from your refund/store credit.
 - If you’re returning due to a damaged or incorrect item, return pickup is free.
 - If pickup is not available in your area, please self-ship the item. We’ll reimburse up to ₹200 once approved
 
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are available for size or design, based on availability.
 - No shipping charges for exchanges.
 - Exchange orders of higher value must be prepaid. If lower, we’ll issue a store  credit for the difference.
 
Refund & Store Credit Policy
- Refunds are only given if you received a wrong or damaged product – and  only after we receive and inspect the return.
 - For all other eligible returns, we issue a store credit valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
 - Shipping and COD charges are non-refundable.
 - Refunds are processed in 7–15 business days.
 
 Note on Handcrafted Products
We celebrate imperfections! Slight variations in print, color, or texture are not considered defects — they’re the charm of handmade products.
Please Remember:
- Orders from other platforms (like Myntra or third-party stores) are not eligible for returns/exchanges at Ethnic Story.
 - We reserve the right to make the final decision in any case.
